Pricing & Policies

Private Piano & Drum Lesson Prices

Rates:
$40 for each 30-minute lesson (recommended for students aged 5-10)
$75 for each 1-hour lesson (recommended for students aged 11+)

 

Lessons are weekly. 

Required Materials: Lesson book, theory book, composition book

Group Piano Lesson Prices

Rates: $150 per month for 45-minute weekly sessions.  
Required Materials: Lesson book, theory book, composition book

What To Expect

  • Private lesson lasts 30-60 minutes, once a week

  • Group piano lessons are 45 minutes, once a week

  • Private lessons are one student per session

  • Group lessons are between five and eight students

  • Each session covers performance, theory, and technique

  • Book purchases are necessary for all instruments (approx. $20 per level)

  • Each student is assessed in their first lesson to determine what level to start on

  • Parents are welcome to stay during the lesson but are not required. Students must be dropped off on time and picked up promptly once the lesson concludes. 

Practicing

  • Parental support is essential regarding student practice. No musical knowledge is required, just simple positive encouragement for your child to practice consistently.

  • Students should practice at least four times per week and are required to fulfill a weekly practice quota (provided by teacher)

  • Students must have regular access to an instrument in order to practice

    Instrument recommendations:

  • For Piano – acoustic piano or digital piano keyboard (with full sized keys)

  • For Drums – acoustic drums, electronic drums, or practice pads

Terms & Conditions

Suggested minimum ages:
Piano - 5 years old.
Drums - 8 years old.
Age guidelines are for the purpose of expected attentiveness during the class, dexterity, and for height (for drums).
 

Student Conduct:

Students are expected to follow directions within the class and demonstrate respect for self, others and musical equipment.

Payment:
All fees are due on the first of each month.
Payments can be made via Zelle, Venmo, check or cash

 

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled lesson are non-refundable. Lessons cancelled with more than 24 hours notice can be rolled over to another date (if available). If no spots are available, your account will be credited to the next month.
